Mother With Sleep Apnea

I want to put this question out there. One year ago I was diagnosed with Severe Sleep Apnea. I was given a CPAP to sleep with. The machine seems to work however there are times when I take it off. Most recently, I gave birth to premature twin girls. While I was in the hospital I used the CPAP as instructed by the hospital staff. the doctors fed my daughters every three hours around the clock. I never used the CPAP machine at this time. Eight months later I am still not using the machine. I hope this makes sense. I am not getting much sleep. My daughters are still waking up every three to five hours at times to nurse. There was one night I got up and I passed out however I have not passed out since. How can I manage this situation - situation being a mother of twins getting lack of sleep and my sleeping disorder? Is my health or life at risk? I was told I can die in my sleep.
