Not able to have sound sleep, always feeling drowsy

by Mahan787, May 05, 2009 07:57AM
Hi doctor,
I have a serious problem about my sleep since 3years.I sleep for 8Hrs a day but still i feel drowsy through out the
next day.And also i feel like tired all the time. I get dreams every night in my sleep.I heard that when a person is
sleeping with dreams then it means that he is not having good sleep. Is this the real problem with me causing issues?
How to avoid/lower the intensity of my dreams(If dreamless sleep is good)?
Your reply will help me in having a peace of life for which i am starving since 3years.

Thanks,
Mahan

Dreaming is normal. However, you should not be drowsy during the day with 8 hours of sleep and may have an underlying sleep disorder. You should be evaluated at a sleep center.
