Peneal gland?

I have been an insomniac since I was in my early 20s, am now 56, it has just occurred to me that my peneal gland may not be working correctly.  I take sertraline 50mg for depression.  Could you please tell me how I go about sorting this gland out if indeed is the problem

There is no evidence that the pineal gland is involved in insomnia.

Hi.  My husband has suffered from chronic, and I mean chronic, insomnia for years.  He has seen many doctorsand taken numerous types of sleep meds. to no avail.  Out of desperation, he finally went to a homeopathic doctor and did an extensive series of tests.  The results showed a practically non-working adrenal gland which is somehow related to sleep.  (I don't remember the exact details.)  Anyway, no medical doctor had ever found this before.  He is taking natural herbs and vitamins to try to readjust his adrenal gland.  It's  too early to tell if this is doing anything, but you may want to look into it for yourself.  If you do, let me know.  I'd be interested to see.  Good luck!  Tracie
