Sleep Tech Fell Asleep

by scootermom, Jul 31, 2009 09:31AM
I have RLS and DNA testing dx for Narcolepsy. I just had a sleep study and MSLT done. Both tests say that I have nothing wrong, but I also found out that the sleep tech for the night study fell sleep. Would that make a difference in the results? Is he supposed to be watching for anything while I'm sleeping?

This is an insomnia forum and does not include narcolepsy which is an entirely separate sleep disorder. This question should be directed to your sleep doctor who interprets the study. In general, though, the tests are  based on the EEG recordings and not the tech watching for anything.
