Alternative therapies for recurrent miscarriage

Alternative therapies for recurrent miscarriage

My question encompasses several of the topic options - I was diagnosed with endometriosis and had a laparoscopy to remove lesions six years ago. That was followed by 12 months of Lupron treatment, which was tolerable during treatment but awful afterwards, as I had two periods a month for ten months. My doctor advised stronger birth control pills during that time to force my cycle to regulate, but it didn't work. After ten months I stopped taking them and immediately my cycle was normal again. I became pregnant with no problems 7 months later and had my son in the spring of 2005. In March 2007 I had an early miscarriage, followed by another in February 2008. The second miscarriage was different, the sac stopped developing at 6 weeks and I didn't miscarry until 11 weeks. I am now pregnant again and just had an ultrasound which showed a 4 week sac when I should be 8 weeks. There is no way I'm wrong with my dating so I know I'll have to lose this one too. During the ultrasound the technician noticed lots of varicose veins in my pelvis which I now know is ovarian vein reflux and/or pelvic congestion. Incidentally I also have a retroverted uterus.

I'm interested in any therapies you might know of to treat the endometriosis and the pelvic congestion, and the recurrent pregnancy loss. I'm also wondering if there is anything I can do with acupuncture/pressure to hasten this miscarriage. My other losses have been at home and I do not want to have a D&C unless it is absolutely necessary  as I think I have enough scarring for a lifetime as it is.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

I cannot recommend any acupuncture/accupressure to hasten a miscarriage. Your doctor can offer medicine like Misoprostol instead of a D&C, if the pregnancy is not normal.
