Bleeding after period

by mssxtd, Dec 06, 2007 09:19AM
I have been on birth control for 4 years and recently stoped.  I had started taking birthcontrols because i had irrgeular periods.  I would not have one then i would have one for a month.  So I have stoped taking them and just had a period about two weeks ago.  Now I am starting to bleed again.  Should I be worried

Yes, you should see your doctor to address this problem. I wonder if your doctor gave you a reason for your irregular periods. If they did not, you can request that that do some tests or examinations to find out why you are having irregular periods.

I had the same problem with irregular periods. You should have your doctor run some blood test such as FSH, LH, estradiol, progesterone to make sure all your hormone levels are ok.  The fact that you have irregular periods could very well be that you are not ovulating.
