Endometrosis and PCOS

I have both endometrosis and PCOS.  I was diagnosed at age 20, 6 years ago, and have had 2 kids since.  I am trying to see what kind of treatments are now out to treat these diseases.  I am beginning to have symptoms of both again, I have had very few symptoms since the birth of my 2nd child almost 3 years ago.  Before, the birth control pills, the Lupron shot and additional dietary supplements, if they helped caused other side effects.  I understand that there will always be a trial and error period with any new treatment, but has there been any new medical discoveries for treating both diseases, since I stopped trying to treat them 5 years ago and focused on beginning my family?

There are newer types of birth control pills like Yaz or Yasmin that can help with PCOS. There is also the Nuvaring. There is also a Mirena IUD (intrauterine device). These can all be tried instead of Lupron.
But if you are interested in getting pregnant, there is a fertility pill called Letrozole which is good for people who have PCOS and endometriosis.
Of course IVF will give you the highest success rates for pregnancy for a history of PCOS and endometriosis.
Metformin alone has not been shown to be superior to ovulation induction with clomiphene in women in PCOS. So if you do not have diabetes or prediabetes, ovulation induction with Clomiphene would be superior to Metformin alone.
