FSH & LH Levels

What is the normal range for FSH level, and LH level?  I am 31 years of age and recently had a blood test which has come back abnormal, but I do not understand the results, could you please help to explain what they mean below:

My LH level = 1.9 abnormal?
My FSH level = 5.7 iu/L

My GP has given me medication to take from day 14 to 28 day of my cycle, for the next couple of months and then test me again ?

Please help as I feel I am going crazy !

I suggest checking cycle day 3 (ie the third day of your period) FSH, LH and Estradiol to determine ovarian reserve. These levels checked at other times are not helpful and difficult to interpret. I do not know what medication your doctor would give you since your levels look normal to me.

My 15 year old daughter had her FSH,LH levels done which were high could someone explain what this means.

LH--6.2
