Infertility and acupuncture/ herbal medicine

I am 33 years old and my husband and I have been trying to conceive for 5 years.  I have had a few preliminary tests and have tried 3 cycles of clomid.  My husband's SA was good.  So far, no reason for the infertility, though I understand that I need to have more testing and I am familiar with the medical course we should take with this, as far as seeing a repro. endocrinologist.  At what point do people usually (or should) see an acupuncturist and/or try herbal medicine?  I would like to look into this and don't know where to start.  Is it usually used in combination with western medicine, or does it depend?  How much does it generally cost?  Can you recommend anyone in the central valley in California?  I am an hour SW of Fresno.

You can see a reputable acupuncturist/herbalist who specializes in women's fertility at any point in your treatment. You can do it in combination or apart from western medicine--it depends on what you would like to do.
I would suggest seeing someone who specializes in women's fertility--not just a generalist. I also suggest seeing someone who is open to western medicine and does not put down western approaches.
Unfortunately, I do not know of anyone in the Central Valley.
