Trying to have a baby

I am PCOS, 29 years old and married for six years now. I am on Clomid at the moment (last pills tommorow). I am supposed to have a TVS ultrasound for follicles on the 12th day of my cycle. She is then going to give me an IVF injection if follicles are found.

Can you tell me what happens next. What are the chances of getting pregnant etc.

I think that you mean that your doctor will give you an HCG injection if your follicle is ready. This will release your egg/eggs and then you may have timed intercourse or insemination depending on what you have decided with your doctor.  In general, there can be as high as 60-80% success in pregnancy after 3 cycles provided that clomid produces follicles and that you ovulate. So most patients try about 3 times. However, you should discuss with your doctor what she thinks your success rate would be, because there may be more specific circumstances in your case. So, I recommend that you speak with your doctor. I wish you the best.
