endo and hysterogram

I had depo shots for my endometriosis and after 2 shots my endo was gone.My OB suggested that I should have hysterogram.Is it really that important since my endo is already gone.My husband and I are trying to get pregnant.Is it possible if I just skip the hysterogram and just take ovulation pills for me to get pregnant.Another question,. how many months is the effectivity of depo?Its been more than a month and stilll I have bleeding.Is there a pill that I could take to stop the bleeding?

I presume that you mean a hysterosalpingogram ie an x-ray of your tubes to make sure that they are open. I always suggest doing a complete work up before taking any fertility drugs but it is totally up to you. You may be frustrated if you put time, expense and endure side effect of drugs and find out that your tubes are blocked.
