Regrowth of cyctitis

I have been diagnosed for bladder cancer Stage 1 but on second opinion, it was found to be cystitis cyctica. After 3 months, I had ultrasound and there was regrowth. is this possible?

Cystitis Cystica is an inflammatory condition of the bladder that can look like bladder cancer.  It is believed to be a deep seated infection of the bladder wall.  It is distinct from bladder cancer and a biopsy read by a pathologist familiar with bladder tumors should differentiate the two.  There have been some reports of cystitis cystica being a possible premalignant lesion and patients need to be followed.  An ultrasound can't diagnose these conditions, only a cystoscopy and biopsy can determine the presence of either lesion and whether it recurred after initial treatment. Your urologist should be able to handle this problem.  Good Luck
