Elmiron

My Dr. wants to increase my Elmiron dose to six times a day. 2 morning, 2 night, and 2 by catheter. Do you agree with this and what are all the side effects of this drug. I am losing my hair and losing an extreme amount of weight. Could this be from taking this medication.
