FORUM??? & Changes

I am posting this opening because I have been unable to find a way to post message Dr. Burke or to find he CL of this board to pm the as welli!
I wanted to contact whoever is in charge upfront to let you know that the new IC patient and Pelvic Pain forum is no in any designed to compete with this one already on Medhelp! I can see over the last few months it has gone through a lot of changes. Today I noticed the doctor does not appear to be here suddenly and I looking at the wrong thing? However someone has some nice healthpages added too.
Medhelp recently opened it's board to smaller
groups that others can start. I am actively involved on the MSK board and do try to reach out to other ICer's as I can. When they new changes opened, I was encouraged to start an IC patient forum to reach out to patients and hopefully bring some of the others I work with to Medhelp also. With the new change we have two MSK boards also.
I THOUGHT this one was more of an
expert forum for direction questions mostly to the doctor. My ONLY desire is to help patients and be here to spread the work about IC and help Medhelp to reach out to those of us who suffer from the difficult to treat illness.
I do hope we can work together and even link the forum together some how. I have my own support group and plenty to do, I am however willing to help!! I would love to work with you and help to see the IC community grow and expand on Medhelp all the way around!
I will share this, I am an IC patient like many of you who suffers from some complicating illnesses along with a lot of stress issues right now. These make treating my IC difficult!
I have a great doc and have had to find about every coping tool out there along with coming up with some of our own! Because of an elderly friend who had IC for 30+ years and learned more from the things I found after being diagnosed in 04' then she ever had! I started the MOARK IC support network to try to help network patients throughout MO and ARK. I work with my MSK (Meduallary Sponge Kidney disease) Support here as well.
If you are the CL or the doc or who ever is working hard and adding the great new healthpages etc. I just wanted to touch base and hope we can network together! Please pm me!
