Miscarriage and IC

I am trying to response to an earlier post but seem to be having trouble doing that.
I have had 10 unexplained (though believed to be autoimmune despite any evidence or improvement with related treatment) miscarriages and no successful pregnancies.  I later developed a severe case of IC, which is often believed to be autoimmune as well.  I believe in my heart that these problems may be related and would be interested in hearing if other patients have experienced both.


This discussion is related to is there any connection between ic & miscarriage?.

If conditions such as hormonal/ endocrine imbalances and endometriosis etc have been ruled out; possibly yes, these could be related. Most patients with autoimmune conditions/ episodes often develop another related or unrelated autoimmune condition as well. Though there is no well published data between autoimmune/ related miscarriages and IC, it is quite possible for the two to be due to a related etiology.
