Pilonidal cysts

by Abed79, Oct 18, 2009 07:26AM
Hello

Am a 23 years old male student in canada. I've had Pilonidal cysts for about 6 years now. dont ask me why. there is a reason everytime... I've been dealing with all the pain and smelly liquids coming out of it  for a while... ... am a bit afraid from visiting a doctor, because i know it requires surgery and a long period for treatment. which i cant afford at the time being. However, am planning on doing the surgery aftar graduation summer 2010.

For the time being, am taking a shower 2 times a day, and placing pads of washroom toilet papers in between it and the underwear. I change it like 2 times each day as well.

My question is this .... sometimes it bleeds alot, no pain tho, just bleeding, am wondering why is that happening ?
and as a typical student, i also wonder if i can do excericses like running, walking, swimming without causing more damage. Can i also visit tanning beds?

Thank you
