I'm young, 19, but since 16 or 15 i've been seeing many urologists, and once ever a pediatric urologist. When i lived with my mom in michigan, it was doctor after doctor that i saw and no one could give me proper diagnosis. Until i met with Dr. Zaidan, and i've been seeing him continously ever since, he thinks i have interstitual cystitis, but my doubts are still there. Recently i've been trying to see if theres a connection to having a pinched nerveNerve biopsy Nerve conduction velocity in my lower back and associate with my bladder problems.
My bladder problems include:
Frequent urgency
Never emptying fully
Leakage through out the day that i wear pads
Leakage from running, coughing, sneezing,
Feeling as if i always have to go
Rarely but sometime lower pain when i can't make it to the bathroom and im holding it in
Rarely burning after/during urination
As for medications, it feels as though i've tried everything in the book, some i can recall:
-Elmiron
-Detrol
-Detrol L.A.
-Ditropan
-Vesicare
Procedures, i've been through alot of tests, the emptying and filling via cathetyr, cystoscopy, scraping of the tubes for endometriosis, bladder sling, heparinHeparin Heparin sodium Heparin sodium-sodium chloride injections after a diagnosis of I.C., and recently interstem therapy.
After October of 2008 I consented for a neurostimulator to be implanted, and since receiving interstem therapy i've had no relief in symptoms. Which leadLead poisoning my doctor to thinking it was I.C. I had undergone a 3 weeks of heparinHeparin Heparin sodium Heparin sodium-sodium chloride injections, but i moved in the middle of it and stopped seeking and medical attention to my bladder problems because i lost my insurrance.
Upon being able to get inssurrance back im debating on whether to go back to a urologist and see what they think could be the problem, but i've been researching the spine and bladder problems. Other than neurogenicNeurogenic bladder bladder could a pinched nerve in the lower back be related to giving me my bladder problems? Should i go see a chiropractor or a urologist?
