Can Serum total PSA level fall suddenly within short period ? Can there be a steep rise and fall of serum PSA levels within short period ?

Yes, PSA levels can rise and fall within a short period and there can be a rise and fall within a short period due to a number of conditions such as infections/ inflammation followed by their resolution, growths/ malignancies followed by gland removal etc.
