UTI/Urethral Stricture/Urethral Stones? Urgent

Hi I need some help with an issue I've been having.

I have a history of hypospadius surgery. I had a surgery about 1 1/2 yrs ago to remove scar tissue that was a complication. Now I have found I'm prone to UTIs.

For the last couple of days I've felt like I have a UTI, except my stream is particularly weak (weak is sort of normal for me, I believe its a urethral stricture from the last surgery), frequent urination and I have that burning sensation if I don't drink a lot of fluids.

I have passed urethral stones in the past, and feel like I may have one that's preventing me from emptying my bladder completely, making infections more likely. How should I approach this situation? I'd rather not have to undergo more surgery.

Thanks

Additional info:
-I have UTI antibiotics but have refrained from using them because I used them about 3 weeks ago for UTI and don't want to "spawn" resistant bacteria.

-I feel like I'm not emptying my bladder completely. Often have to pee soon after the first time, but then not for a while.

Hi there!

Well, it would be very difficult to predict a cause for your symptoms without a detailed clinical evaluation, though strictures and partial blockade with re-formation of scar tissue are potential possibilities. Other issues that may need to be considered include obstruction due to prostatic issues, calculi etc metabolic issues etc. I would suggest getting this evaluated by a urologist to consider the possibilities. After a cause is diagnosed it can be managed accordingly. Meanwhile I would suggest taking plenty of water and avoiding medications that may be harmful to the kidneys.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
