bleeding from urethera

i recently had a total hysterectomy and also a bladder scope. since the procedure 6 weeks ago, i have had some bleeding from my urthera. also i notice pressure in my bladder when i urinate. The Dr. did find a growth on my bladder. can you tell me what would cause the bleeding and how long it will last?

The bleeding can be just from the scope being in there or it could be from the growth (or removal of the growth if the doctor took it out).  It could also be from a UTI.  It seems like the bleeding should have stopped by now if it is not from an active UTI.  Are you sure the bleeding is from the urethra and not the vagina?  I could be from the hysterectomy.  Make sure you know where you are bleeding from and call your doctor.  They may tell you it is normal and will go away soon or they may want to check you to make sure everything is okay.
