at the end of my cycle i tend to get raw stinging and tender to touch on the lower left of my privates is this part of ic? also i have been recently diagnoised with anemia does this affect ic at all.

Hi there!

If the discomfort just occurs regularly with the menstrual cycles, it is less likely to be due to interstitial cystitis and more likely to be a hormonal effect. Anemia is unlikely to affect IC, while patients with severe IC may develop anemia due to chronic blood loss. I would suggest getting the symptoms and the anemia evaluated in detail with a primary care physician, so than appropriate treatment can be initiated.
