kidney stone cause Cystitis?

I was in the ER 7 days ago and was diagnosed with a 2mm kidney stone.  At that time it was near the urter traveling toward the kidney.  The doctor at the ER said the stone should only take a couple days to pass.  I am no longer having flank pain, but i still feel a constant frequency to urinate (espcially at night) and urgency.  The irritation is so debilitating to me.  could a kidney stone casue these symptoms even after it's passed? or could it cause cystitis?

...also, i did follow up with my PCP and a urologist, they both did urinalysis and there is no infection present.  The urologist gave me some meds that are normally perscribed to people with an overactive bladder and gave me the option of doing another CT scan to see if the stone is still in there (i wasnt sure if i should do another CT so soon due to the radiation exposure). please help
