Dr. Uffe Ravnskov?

Dr. Uffe Ravnskov?

I am sure any accomplished cardiologist has heard of this doctor, Dr. Uffe Ravnskov.  Is he right?  At 25, my cholesterol was great.  4 years later, just a couple days ago, came back high.  Bad is up, good is down, and my triglercerides are high.  Suggested by my doctor to reduce my fat intake and cholesterol and I agree.  After searching for advice on the ways to do this, I came across Dr. Uffe Ravnskov claims.  His main thesis is to stay of awy from medicine that lowers cholesterol, but he also says that foods high in fat and cholesterol aren't bad for you....that doesnt make sense to me.  I also have a family history of heart problems....should I stick to my doctors advice.

Stick with your doctor's advice. He or she knows you and your history. Their recommendation is more mainstream.
