It seems like I've experienced a number of unsettling symptoms since the onset of menopause, but over the last month or so I've noticed swelling in my lower legs and feet and a feeling of palpitations or fluttering of my heart after meals. The palpitations are accompanied by a croupy cough that just won't go away. The coughing is much worse when I lay down. Are these the typical symptoms associated with menopause, or should I be concerned about other issues?
