Heart Bypass Surgery Effect

I had single heart bypass surgery 15 months ago. this past Spring, while experiencing much stress with 2 seriously ill relatives, I started experiencing slurred, hesitant speech. It sgetting worse. They have done an MRI and CTA and both are normal. Now they are doing an EEG. Is this a side effect?

Maybe it is a result of medication?  Just a thought.  You didn't specify what medications you might be taking but I imagine after bypass you are on some.

If the symptoms were due to the heart surgery they should have started right after the surgery and not be delayed in onset by several months.
