Thickening around the heart is very non specific, but it could mean thickening of the outer covering of yor heart called the pericardium. It is a rare condition and if your ekg and echo are completely normal chances of significant problems from such a condition are low. The CT scan will help in finding out if you have any abnormal thickening of your pericardium.
