Long time in Hot Tub A Cause For Stress-Induced Cardiomyopathy?

Twice in 5 years I  had a stressful job, overate on a particular day, exercised (walked) more than normal, and then spent a long time in a hot tub (30-60 minutes straight) Ordinarily,  I don't spend more than 5 minute at a time in a hot tub or steam room. And I take 15 minute showers at times. I do this to destress. But twice I was stupid and suffered pain, abnormal EKGS, elevated enzymes (troponin more so the last time) And now diagnosed with Stress induced cardiomyopathy with a LV small thrombus. Can I ever hope to go back to small times in a hot tub/steam room without probable risk of damage? (Cath test looked great except for clot!)
PS I am too anxious most of the time!.

After recovery from the acute event it is likely that you can enjoy the hot tub.  Alcohol and vasodilator medications can cause a drop in your blood pressure in the hot tub and these likely would need to be held prior to the hot tub--ask your doctor.
