I was wondering how long it is commonCommon cold to have chest pain after a PFO closure. I had my PFO closed nearly three months ago and I still experience chest pain, which I thought would subside as the cells grew over the device. My EKGAtrioventricular block, ekg tracing Ecg Exercise stress test was normalNormal saline flush a month after the procedure, but I won't have a follow up TTE for another 9 months because I am in a clinical trial. Should I be concerned about this pain?
PFO's do not necessarily cause chest pain. I would not assume that the closure is causing the pain. I would recommend you get the pain evaluated by your cardiologist.
