Pain in chest may not be realted to heart

My husbnd had a heart attack several years ago.  He just had a check up (stress test, MRI etc.) a couple months ago because he was still having chest pain.  The doctors did not find anything and told him to take tums.  The tums do not work.  He has also tried Nitroquick and that does not seem to work either.  He is on the following medications, plavix, Lisonopril, crestor, metroprolol and janumet.  Could an interaction of these medications be causing the pain.  What should his next step be.

It is unlikely the meds are causing the pain.  If the pain occurs with exertion it may well be cardiac and potentially a cardiac cath may be needed.
