Steady BP increase from 145/93 to 181/104 from a.m. to pm.

Hello:  Unsure of proper topic.

BP controlled w/ 5mg HCTZ and usually @ 135/85 -- has increased steadily in last 30 days to about 150/95 -- and in last three days even higher -- today at 6:30 a.m,. 145/93  ... 11:00 pm 181/104 ... ???  No symptoms ...

getting nervous -- mother had strokes in her late 50's -- I am 52 ...

You need to have your blood pressure meds adjusted.  It is not uncommon for this to happen over time and your blood pressure goal should be 130/80 or less.
