Travelling after heart catheterization
What are the risks of travelling after a heart catheterization? I am planning a trip that envolves a 13 hour plane trip one way 3 weeks after my Heart Catheterization.  I will then be returning 4 weeks after departure for the same 13 hour plane ride. Are there any special precautions I should take? I am a 50 year old female. The test is for diagnostic reasons.

There is no special precautions for travelling that far after cath. However with that long of trip you should get up and walk every 2-3 hours to prevent blood clots in your legs. This answer may be different if any intervention is required.
