Underarm pain

I am 38 and I have been having these infrequent sharp pains lasting about 30 secs to 1 min in my left underarm.  This morning I have already had three episodes.  They are about 10 mins apart.  I smoke 1-2 packs per day and I take Zoloft, multivitamins, fish oil, and a male stimulant for sex drive.  I figure I am too young to have heart problems but I guess anything is possible.

Thank you for your reply.  It seems that after visiting my local M.D.,  these pains may be from muscle spasms.  As to the cause is unknown.  I have been prescribed a relaxant to help and told to continue the monitoring.  I now realize it could be attributed to the reduction and declined usage of Zoloft.  I am in the phase of weening from it.  Again thank you for your reply and,  You do a great service working with this site.

Your pain would be atypical for heart pain. There are so many causes of pain. Although 38 seems young it would not be the youngest patient I have seen with heart problems.
