anticoagulant treatment

anticoagulant treatment

I have just had a pacemaker fitted and I am taking warfaring tablets also dalteparin injections.I also suffer from an irratable bowe condition. The warfarin is causing bowel distress.Could my treatment be dalteparin injections only so as not to cause bowel trouble.I had 80% of my colon removed 10 years ago, have had bowel trouble since.
My pacemaker responds well but if I exert myself at all I start gasping for breath.
Heart rate and blood pressure are OK.

It is likely that the dalteparin injections are being given only until your warfarin has produced the therapeutic effect on your protime/INR.  These medicines are unlikely to cause worsening of the irritable bowel.
