dilated left atrium??

dialated left atrium with lower normal limit function of the left ventrical, could this cause palpitations pacs and pvcs and what other symptoms could it cause (weakness or shortness of breath?) and how is it treated and what is the prognosis? thank you

Yes a dilated left atrium could cause palpitations and PVCs. The treatment depends on the cause. It may be due to high blood pressure. You need to discuss this with your doctor.
