further questions re:nuclear testing

This is a followup of my initial question:If the nuclear testing doesnt show 100% and original angiogram showed some other blockage in one area of 75% =, could this cause the pain to still exist....The nitro has no effect in helping either.

If there is a question regarding the 75% blockage you may be a candidate for what is called fractional flow reserve (FFR) which is a test done at the time of the cath and it will tell if the blockage is significant and warrants treatment.

Yes, a 75% occlusion can cause angina (chest pain), however, nitro should dilate coronary vessels enough to avoid any angina!  An angiogram is more reliable source for detecting blockage than a stress test...but neither are 100%.
