i am a 40 yr old woman with a history of heart disease in my fathers side of the family ( he died at 45, his dad 44, and an uncle on the transplant list) he had mitral valve prolapse, which i was told i have, and ventrical tachia cardia. i had a stress test today W/thallium and my heart rate got to 184 i had chest pressure and shortness of breath, understandably no one can answer a question till the results are read, but i was looking for an idea to ease my mind.

thanks
