inderal alternative for tachycardia

by butters420, May 26, 2008 05:45PM
i've been taking 10-40 mg at a time for inappropriate sinus tachycardia control (probably anxiety, but who knows).    The propranolol seemed like a good choice since i also have headaches (kill 2 birds with 1 stone)  but it seems to be having too much of a cerebral effect on me....when i take  it i expect to maybe feel a little sluggish, but i've been feeling weird mentally,  things i've read suggest inderal is the most potent cerebral beta blocker,   would there be a good safe  alternative for what I'm trying to control?

You might try to reduce the dose and see if only 10 mg will control the symptoms without the side effects.  Potentially you could try metoprolol.
