is chest pain normal

I was born with a hole in my heart that needed surgery right away. at 3 months of age i had my open heart surgery to repair my VSD. since then i have grown just fine and have had no further problems. About 3 years ago i began to have chest pain that over the months got worse. i went to my doctor many times and got no answers. i was finally sent to a cardiologist, where they found that i had a Tricuspid valve disorder. i was not put on any medications and was sent out with a six month follow up. my chest pains have not gone away and bring me to tears at times the pain is awful, the pain goes from my left side up my neck and then down my left arm leaving it numb for a few seconds.I dont have any energy and always feel like i need to sleep. Should i be concerned, or is this normal?

It is clearly not normal to have the chest pain like you are having and you need to be evaluated.   Perhaps an exercise echo would be of value.
