nitroglycerine

i have been having atypical chest pain (heavy and not worse with exercise) , palpitations, reduced exercise tolerance, and feeling very fatigued

i was given both beta blockers and a single spray of nitroglycerine,  and that whole day i felt so much better than i usually do... i cant figure out which 1 it was,   but does this fact point to more a cardiac problem?   i am only 30, but i have risk factors including early fam. history.     also how long do the desirable effects of nitro spray usually last?

Nitro generally has only headache or lightheadedness as the side effects.  You need a diagnosis not empirical  treatment.  You should have some sort of stress test.
