Hello, I’m a female 59 years old. I have high blood pressure since 15 years ago and also I am a little bit overweight. I walk every day around 40 min and also I’m a very active person at work, real state agent.  Since 3 months ago I have a lot of pain in my right arm, close to the elbow going towards my upper and lower arm, sensation of a lot of pressure, like if the blood cant pass.
Went to visit the doctor and he said that is not related with the high blood pressure and he wants me to mri.
Wondering if with the symptoms you can tell me if it is rheumatism? I suffered of this when I was a kit,
Please would very helpful if yu can let me know which specialist doctor I should visit? I’m concern that the pain is getting stronger with the time, especially in the morning and during the day. I feel diseases as well and when the pain is extreme I feel like knots in all my body and body tiredness. I’m worry. Thanks for your help.

If the blood pressure is equal in both arms it is unlikely due to a blocked artery to your arm and the MRI is a good place to start and then speciality referral based on the results of the test.

Sounds like a nerve entrapment in your shoulder or elbow. I'm seeing an Orthopedic for the same thing. He sent me to a Neurologist for an EMG, would rather have had an MRI, not much fun but effective.

I'll be interested in the response as well.

Good luck,

Jon
