What are the chances that I have pulmonary hypertension. I am a 28 year old female that have been having shortness of breath or feeling of not getting enough air in especially when I breath through my nose. I went to see a pulmonologist who did a PFT and everything was normal expect one value was slightly less than normal. He stated that this is what he has seen before in people who are small framed. I am secheduled to see a cardiologist next week because the pulmonologist stated that one of my arteries looks a little enlarged. I am worried that I might have pulmonary hypertension. What are the chances? Could this be anxiety too that makes my symptoms worse or even what is causing it? Could it be thyroid issues?
Any information would be helpful. I am a bit stressed that I might have this horrible disease.
