Appetite Changes

I have IBS (or so my doctor and councelor tell me, although I've never been tested for anything else or examined), and I've had some wierd appetite changes for about the last four or five months. Usually I get full very easily, so I don't really eat a lot. However, about once a month, (no correlation with my menstral cycle), I have stages where I am hungry all the time. It generally lasts for about a week. I will eat breakfast, then be starving to death  by lunch. I'll need a few snacks between lunch and dinner, etc. I just can't satify it! This is extremely abnormal for me.

Does anyone else with IBS experience this, or could it be something else? Should I talk to my doctor about it?

Ther is another symptom I have been having lately. I feel like it is probably related to ibs, but I don't really know for sure. Sometimes for several days straight I will feel a constant pressure in my lower belly, and it feels like something is pressing on my bladder. It makes it very hard to sleep at night because I will keep feeling like I need to urinate, even if I've just gone. Many times it is accompanied by pain. During the days that this is going on, it usually hurts to have sex, or it feels like my bladder is being poked over and over again. It's extremely uncomfortable!

I haven't talked this one over with my doctor yet either.  (it's expensive to go, and I'm a poor college girl!) Should I?

I think you should see a doctor. In Canada we have free clinics for young people. Maybe you can access something? I would not wait for more symptoms if I were you. Take care.
