Are doctors familiar with BMS?  It seems like IBS which is just a catchall for what can't be figured out about the digestive system.  My GI doctor never suggested dietary changes for IBS, I had to figure it out for myself. Keep posting suggestions.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi, the treatment for burning mouth syndrome depends on the cause. It can be due to nutritional causes, allergies, fungal infections, dentures, GERD, diabetes, hypothyroidism and certain medications. If no cause is found it is termed as primary burning mouth syndrome. Treatment depends on the presenting signs and symptoms, as well as any underlying conditions that may be causing your mouth discomfort.  For primary burning mouth syndrome treatment is symptomatic with oral rinses and saliva replacement products. Please discuss this with your doctor am sure he will provide further assistance. Regards.
