Can u help please?

About two years ago i was badly injured in a car crash. Although most pain has gone i still have a few symptoms that worry me. Since the accident i have suffered from constant diahorrea and severe pain when trying to go to the toilet. I have put on a lot of weight recently yet my diet if anything has got better not worse. I used to drink alcohol most nights but have cut down dramatically to see if it helped. I also used to smoke but have given this up within the last 6 weeks but it seems to have made no difference?  I used to also feel sick a lot of the time but this has eased off recently. I have been back to the doctors but they say they dont think anything is wrong!! Any ideas as to what could be wrong? I have heard of IBS and wondered if i could be suffering from this?
