HELP WITH CONSTIPATION

Hi,

I have now finally got my IBS under control,I believe.

But I now suffer from constipation .This varies from hard pellots/long dry stools that come every two days or so.

I tried eating more fruit,but tinned peaches helped with the constipation,but had side effects .

I have read on this forum that Vit C can assist,I might try some a soluble  type .

But any other help or advice would be helpful.

400-800 mg magnesium citrate.  Less is more, so start out on the low end, so you don't go to the other extreme.

I had this same thing, I ended up testing positive on a hydrogen breath test.  Had 2 spikes of hydrogen at the end of the test. Currently on rifaximin, I felt good for 2 days but back to constipation and what I think it cramping under my ribs.  Give a hydrogen breath test a try though, might work for you.
