Heard of Robinul for IBS?

I have suffered with IBS off and on for 20 years now with the past 7 months being absolutely horrific!  I never knew the pain could be so horribly bad and debilating for that long!  I am just finishing a long battling of thousands of dollars worth of tests with the doctors each time saying, "We may come back to the diagnosis of Irritable Bowel Syndrome".

The one for tomorrow is MRCP and then I may have an E.U.S and after that I am going to quit doing tests at least for a while because I'm not finding any answers and I am running up a lot of doctor bills even though I have insurance.  I am unemployed right now, so I guess thank God for unemployment.

Anyway, I have read where some IBS suffers say Robinul is a miracle drug, but my new GI doctor as of March this year says he isn't familiar with it and wouldn't feel comfortable prescribing it for me since I am still under going tests. ? Does this sound right to any of you out there?

Let me know your thoughts please!  I have back and stomach pain and severe addominal distension this bout with IBS.  I have had colonoscopy with a small benign polyps and a little diverticulsosis, I have had CT Scans, upper GI, MR Angigram on my stomach vessels, MRI on my c spine, and I am getting a MRCP tomorrow and a possible E.U.S and I have tried about 10 different medications.  I have to take pain pills to make food digestion even possible to live with the pain associated and if I eat food with fiber I am going down in the bed with back and stomach pain and spasms that last 12-to 36 hours.  I am really discouraged and in severe pain.  I hope I can find a medicine that will help.
