IBS AND ADHD

Hello I have irritable bowel expressed pain and spasms in the lower abdomen. I noticed that I was taking some medication and then come back pains become much more powerful and terrible for a few months. I want to treat my ADHD with medication that call "Vyvanse". And in the PI registered Heather write that the medication can cause abdominal pain. So I wanted to ask whether it is better to avoid the medication? Is this a known phenomenon that such strong abdominal pains by taking drugs? Thank you.
