IBS causing inflammation
I have had a ct scan show inflammation of my small intestine...I have also had gastritis diagnosed... my question is... is inflammation of the g.i. tract something that even occurs in ibs patients?I have tried to research alot.. but I have not found one source that confirms that inflammation is prevelant in IBS what so ever..I feel as if my doctors are ignoring important information, and think im a nutcase. also, i was wondering since i have had crohn's ruled out... is it even detectable when symptoms are not present?
