IBS medicine?

When my ibs acts up i get a sharp pain that mimicks appendicitis exactly. My doctor gave me a medicine she called an "anti-spasmetic". It has weird side effects like drowsiness and blurred vision, and i recently took it for the first time and it knocked me out for 5 hours but when i woke up i literally felt drunk. Not a fun experience i was so out-of-it!

Does anybody else take anything like this? Im not allowed to drive while on it and i just find the medicine really weird and im not sure if i want to take it anymore.

Any comments, tips, or advice would be nice! Thank you :)

i have taken anti spasmatics to good effect --but they do lose their power after a while .what one are u taking i have not heard of this reaction before ,they should have no effect on your vision or cause drowsiness ,,
