Is it normal for BMs to be so skinny after Diverticulitis?

Diagnosed with Diverticulitis one week ago.  I'm taking 6 antibiotics a day.  I can't seem to go to the bathroom.  There is action but it's skinny and weird.  Still suffering from discomfort, but that dreaded pain is gone!  CT scan revealed a thickening of the colon wall.  Anyway, I know my life is about to change in respect to diet, but what about these skinny poops????

Welcome to the IBS community!  Skinny poops are a common sign of constipation.  Because you have diverticulitis, I would recommend discussing a diet plan with your doctor to help the constipation.
